The mission of Mariner High School is to provide a world-class education in an environment that fosters rigorous academic excellence, personal virtue, life-long learning and responsible citizenship.One of our primary goals at Mariner High School is for us to create custom and appropriate opportunities for each student's individual educational needs. By making high school more relevant and meaningful, our students will want to be here each and every day, taking advantage of the experience on front of them. Our rigorous academic program and elective opportunities will give students an edge as they pursue their education or career beyond high school. We know your child's education is important and choosing the right school is critical for your child's future success. Here are just a few of the programs that distinguish Mariner High School and truly make it one of the flagship schools of southwest Florida.

STEM Program - Provides rigorous academic studies that promote intellectual risk-taking, creative problem solving, ethical considerations, life-long educational exploration, and academic excellence in an evolving economic and scientific/technological community. These programs have an application process.

Signature Programs - these programs or fields of study are dedicated to nurturing an individual students interests and allowing students to gain insight into real world experiences. These "Signature Programs" offer excellent college or career preparation with opportunities to study in the fields of veterinary science, advertising, multi-media communications, leadership, the Arts, biomedicine and others. Advanced Placement / Early College Program; formerly known as Dual Enrollment - Provides an opportunity to experience college level courses and receive college credit on the Mariner campus. Still enabling your child to experience involvement in extracurricular activities, such as; sports, band, drama, visual arts, Student Government, and JROTC. These are just a few examples of what is available at Mariner High.
