The Medical Academy is designed as an orientation to the health care cluster consisting of occupations in the allied health field like EKG Technician, Nursing Assistant, Medical Technician, and Medical Transcriptionist. The program was developed to enhance understanding of the roles and responsibilities of each major career area. The major attributes emphasized in the program are:

Phlebotomy
The student will learn and practice how to draw blood. This program offers students the opportunity to be a Certified Phlebotomy Technician
